SPRING SUMMER 27 COLLECTION

“ASSEMBLAGE”

For Spring Summer 2027, DURAZZI constructs the wardrobe through the idea of assemblage. Garments, materials, objects and images come together carrying traces of memories, gestures and encounters. The house’s sartorial code is translated into pieces designed to be assembled, dismantled and reconfigured, forming a wardrobe in constant evolution, where individual elements retain their identity while acquiring new meaning through their relationships with one another.

Archetypal outerwear, from the car coat to the caban, becomes modular through detachable collars, sleeves and linings. Shirts open along sleeves and side seams, releasing generous volumes and creating moments of unexpected exposure. Sculptural tailoring remains central: precise construction is interrupted by equestrian-inspired cut-outs that trace fluid, graphic lines across the body, balancing discipline and sensuality.

Material contrasts sharpen this tension. Silk satin catches the light against porous canvas and sheer layers, while glove nappa and featherweight suede envelop the body like a second skin. Polished metal and leather become architectural gestures: oversized belt plaques reinterpret the distinctive closure of the Swing bag, while jewel-like buckles, leather tabs and closures punctuate fluid silhouettes with bold graphic interventions.

Craftsmanship becomes another form of assemblage. Raw-edged panels of eel skin create rhythmic vertical surfaces, echoed in silk satin through embroidered bands that translate the same construction from leather into textile.

Iceberg blue, mud grey and ebony meet DURAZZI’s signature leather spectrum, from ivory and natural tan to deep burgundy. The Assemblage prints layer sculptures, photographs, records, vessels, gloves and everyday objects from the DURAZZI universe, drawing on the visual logic of artists’ studios, where fragments accumulate and unexpected relationships emerge.

The language of opening continues into footwear: draped ballet-point pumps in glove nappa, suede and silk satin expose the foot through soft cut-outs, while saddle-inspired leather sandals transform traditional saddlery through sculptural openings.

Assemblage becomes a method of composition: fragments remain distinct, materials shift roles, and familiar forms are opened to new possibilities.
