“STILL OF ARCADIA”
A slowed-down scene, like a freeze frame after a gathering that has not yet fully dissolved. Energies fade but do not disappear: they remain on the ground as traces left by a collective presence. The Autumn Winter 2026/27 collection by DURAZZI MILANO emerges from this suspended moment, away from the city, where encounter turns into retreat and the social dimension loses its performative role.
Like works within a museum space, DURAZZI MILANO isolates elements, matter, body, ground, bringing them into focus not to idealize them, but to make them present, autonomous, legible. It is a contemporary Arcadia, stripped of all idealization. Not a refuge, but a temporary and concrete space, lived in and crossed through. Elegance does not resolve into a finished form, but is defined through movement and use, far from rigid constructions.
The looks are worn by figures belonging to the DURAZZI MILANO universe, including artists, singers, actors, and gallerists. The collection inhabits this context naturally, as an extension of a shared attitude.
The ground enters as a physical element, carrying weight, friction, and memory. The horse, part of DURAZZI MILANO’s DNA, introduces a dimension of strength and control that translates into graphic rigor, decisiveness of form, and precision of construction. This imagery takes shape through leather, pony hair, and material surfaces, central elements of the brand’s language.
The season marks the debut of a menswear vision for DURAZZI MILANO. Men and women move in parallel, sharing the same formal vocabulary and the same tension between everyday wear and evening.
The collection unfolds as a single flow, built around an idea of modern elegance that rereads heritage codes through a hybrid lens. Lines are clean and essential, while materials define the character of each garment. Noble fabrics such as cashmere, fine wools, and fluid silks introduce softness and movement, set in tension with leather and pony hair, creating a natural sense of balance.
The color palette reinforces the identity of DURAZZI MILANO: a scale of greys, greens, and blacks that opens to dusty tones, sage green, and deep earthy browns. Colors are never sharp or decorative, but work through nuance, depth, and layering, becoming a distinctive signature of the brand.
A leitmotif runs through the entire collection: ultra-soft leather ties make garments modular and transformable. The act of tying becomes visible and intentional, reinforcing the physical relationship between body and garment. Eveningwear is reinterpreted through the brand’s identifying codes. The tuxedo suit and the kilt, reworked through the use of pony hair at the collar and in the inserts, redefine the sartorial language of DURAZZI MILANO’s eveningwear, consolidating new archetypes.
Iconic elements emerge with clarity: riding boots, leather outerwear with cocoon volumes, bomber jackets that envelop the body without constriction. Silken fringes applied on oblique cuts become part of the construction, while patterns inspired by early twentieth-century motifs move across tailoring and shirts.
The black orchid recurs in knitted jacquards and wool fabrics, intertwined with stripes and modular patterns, generating new visual tensions within a classical textile grammar.
The collection is entirely made in Italy, using fine materials and sartorial craftsmanship that enhances classical constructions, full canvas tailoring, and a high level of manufacturing quality.
“STILL OF ARCADIA” is a study of modern elegance that emerges from matter, gesture, and use. A wardrobe built on recognizable and coherent codes, affirming a clear sense of identity, designed to be worn, inhabited, and lived.
